We are seeking a Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) Engineer to provide supportability/sustainment engineering and product assurance support to U.S. Army missile systems. An individual in this role will assist with technical program management to ensure that sufficient data is available to confirm that the U.S. Army stockpiles continue to meet established performance, explosive safety, readiness and reliability requirements and identify trends in reliability and performance parameters in a timely manner. You will need to conduct RAM analyses and assessments to identify potential degradation trends and identify opportunities for improvements, optimizations, and mission enhancement.
In this role, you will work on a team with ownership of an entire program with input into the requirements and budget all the way through reporting the results. Communication (oral and written), teamwork, and flexibility are keys to success in this position. You will be asked to develop and oversee test events, conduct data analysis, and report program results and conclusions formally and informally through technical reports, briefings, memos, and white papers. You will need to be able to recommend the most appropriate mathematical analysis methods, recommend analysis improvements and efficiencies, and stay up to date with the latest advances in RAM analysis techniques. You will be supporting special analysis teams (Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) and Failure Review Boards (FRBs). You will determine if program results and analyses are applicable to our Joint Service and Foreign Military Partners and supporting our allies when possible
Required
- ABET accredited BS degree in Engineering
- 3 years of related technical experience
- Approximately 15% travel
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
