Job Description

Primary Function of Position

The Financial Analyst 2 in our Multiport Business Unit plays a critical role in achieving our overall goal of delivering best in class business partnership and data insights. We are seeking a strong financial analyst that will help consolidate reporting for the Multiport Business Unit & be the primary business partner for the Central Technology Engineering (CTE) organization.  This person will be responsible for managing financial consolidations for the business unit, coordinating forecast and budget schedules, and driving process improvements while also managing the same for the CTE organization. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide actionable insights to support business decisions. The successful candidate will work on ad hoc projects that span across the business unit and cross-functionally with other departments.

Essential Job Duties

  • Financial Consolidations : Prepare and manage financial consolidations for the business unit, ensuring accuracy and compliance with corporate policies. Review and analyze financial statements to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Forecasting and Budgeting : Coordinate the development of forecast and budget schedules, working closely with key stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate submissions. Assist in the preparation and presentation of forecast and budget reports to senior management.
  • Process Improvements : Proactively identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting. Develop and maintain financial models and tools to support process improvements and decision-making.
  • Ad Hoc Projects : Lead and participate in ad hoc projects that span across the business unit and cross-functionally with other departments. Provide financial analysis and support for special projects, strategic initiatives, and business development opportunities.
  • Business Insights : Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations to business partners. Collaborate with business unit leaders to understand their financial needs and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.
  • Compliance and Reporting : Ensure compliance with corporate policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Business Partnership : Serve as the primary business partner to the Central Technology Engineering (CTE) organization through management of cost center budgets, forecasts, and month-end reporting.
  • This role requires working onsite in our Sunnyvale, CA office Tuesday. Wednesday, and Thursday every week.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SAP, EDW, Tableau, Anaplan).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Required Education and Training

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in financial analysis, corporate reporting, or a related role.
  • Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Background in healthcare or manufacturing
  • Data analytics (SQL, Tableau, SAP, etc)

    We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, benefits, and equity. It would not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of range for the role, as actual pay will be determined based on several factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications. The target salary ranges are listed.

    Base Salary Range Region 1 : $106,700 - $144,300

    Base Salary Range Region 2 : $90,700 - $122,700

    Workplace Type : Set Schedule - This job will be onsite weekly, the percentage of onsite work will be defined by the leader.
