Machine Learning Architect
We're seeking an experienced ML Architect to join our client's team in the south metro of the Twin Cities. This role is crucial in designing and implementing data solutions for AI and ML projects, with a focus on personalization initiatives.
- Experience Level: Senior (10 years)
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days onsite per week)
- Location: South Metro, Twin Cities
- Employment Type: 6-9 Month Contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable data architectures to support ML models for personalization
- Collaborate with data scientists to understand and take ownership of the models and notebooks they create
- Engineer machine learning models into production workflows with rigor and supportability
- Ensure ongoing care, feeding, and maintenance of deployed models
- Implement efficient data pipelines and storage solutions using Snowflake and Azure ML
- Bring new ideas and updates, working closely with data scientists and other team members
- Take initiative and be proactive in improving MLOps practices
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment where everyone chips in to get the job done
- Optimize model performance and ensure scalability in production environments
- Apply security best practices for deploying and maintaining models
- Utilize Python for data processing, analysis, and model integration
- Implement version control and collaboration practices using GitHub
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance personalization capabilities
- Serve as an advisor on implementing ML best practices
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SQL
- Strong experience with Python
- Hands-on experience with Azure ML
- Familiarity with Snowflake is highly desirable
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git
- Experience in designing data models and database structures for efficient data storage and retrieval
- Deep knowledge of machine learning algorithms and their application in personalization
