Senior Data Scientist
We're seeking a talented Senior Data Scientist to join our client's innovative team in the south metro of the Twin Cities. As a key player in data-driven initiatives, you'll be at the forefront of developing cutting-edge data science solutions that drive the business forward.
Position Details
Experience Level : Senior
Work Arrangement : Hybrid (3 days onsite per week)
Location : South Metro, Twin Cities (local candidates preferred)
Employment Type : 6-9 month contract
What You'll Do
As the Senior Data Scientist, you'll dive into exciting projects that push the boundaries of data analytics. Here's what you can expect :
Perform deep analysis on large datasets and provide actionable recommendations based on findings
Visualize data into consumable formats that help drive business results
Determine and implement common algorithms for predictive analytics applicable across multiple business pyramids
Utilize Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning tools to enhance predictive analytics capabilities
Model data sources for easy consumption by data tools and analysts
Train and fine-tune data models to ensure accuracy and optimal performance
Drive common practices and processes for data analysis and discovery
Deliver machine learning solutions centered around recommendation engines, propensity scoring, customer segmentation, and anomaly detection
You Bring to the Table
Proven experience in data science, with a track record of successful projects
Strong proficiency in Python, R, and related data science libraries (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow)
Experience with AI and ML tools for predictive analytics
Solid understanding of statistical analysis, machine learning algorithms, and data structures
Expertise in data visualization, feature engineering, and model optimization techniques
Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication abilities and a collaborative mindset
Advanced degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
