Primary Function of the Position
The Global Mobility Specialist is the subject matter professional in immigration and relocation programs and willing to expand their knowledge to support international mobility projects. This role partners with external immigration counsel and relocation service providers to manage various types of mobility cases including short- and long-term assignments, group moves, domestic and international relocations. The Global Mobility Specialist understands and advises on mobility policies, laws, and practices to internal stakeholders such as Business Leaders, Human Resources, Finance, and other cross-functional teams.

Job Description
Primary Function of the Position

Essential Job Duties
- Primarily oversee employee domestic mobility experience and program with special projects in international mobility; Partner closely with external providers as well as Global Mobility, HR, Legal, Finance, Payroll, Stock, Tax and other internal cross-functional teammates
- Initiate, monitor and manage lifecycle of immigration and relocation cases for new hires and employees in partnership with external immigration counsel and relocation service providers.
- Designated point of contact for time sensitive delicate immigration documentation and record keeping as per government regulations
- Strategize long term visa sponsorship support and escalate high risk immigration cases
- Introduce strategies to streamline processes and transform policies
- Keep apprised of current mobility trends and critical updates related to government regulations and provide consultation to internal stakeholders
- Review vendor invoices and manage purchase order budget
- Generate routine mobility and data analysis reports for audits as well as compliance requirements
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree required
- Good knowledge of immigration regulations and laws
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to explain complex cases
- Excellent organizational, problem solving and project management skills
- Proficient in MS Office suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects and being a productive team player
- Desire to learn new areas and skills based on rapidly changing business environment and global growth
- Must be willing to work on site 3-4 days a week at our Peachtree Corners, GA or Sunnyvale, CA office.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in field of global mobility including vendor coordination and expense management
- Minimum 2 years of U.S. immigration experience at a global organization
- Ability to travel 10% when required.
