Primary Function of Position
The Sr Manager Technical Accounting Advisory & Policies plays a critical role in achieving our overall goal of delivering worldclass financial reporting. This highly visible role frequently interacts with executive management as part of providing technical accounting advice.
This role offers a great opportunity to work closely with various Finance teams within the Company including Corporate Accounting FP&A Treasury and Tax as well as the Legal Regulatory Product Operations Business Development and Intuitive Ventures teams which will allow you to gain a broad amount of knowledge of the Companys business and operations that are essential for solid career development.

Essential Job Duties
- Partner with the various teams including the Business Development and Intuitive Ventures teams to provide technical accounting guidance and strategic support for transaction structuring including M&A activity and strategic investments.
- Using excellent written communication skills draft memos on the accounting for nonroutine transactions.
- Using exceptional verbal communication skills head meetings and other discussions with Executive Leadership to explain the accounting for nonroutine transactions.
- For significant M&A activity drive the due diligence efforts for the Finance workstream including managing third party consultants as needed.
- Draft new or update existing accounting policies as warranted.
- Head up the implementation of our required ESG reporting efforts including reporting under CSRD Californias and the SECs climate disclosure rules and other global ESG reporting requirements as mandated.
- Run initial examination and implementation efforts for significant new accounting pronouncements including ongoing communication with other teams.
- Review significant contracts for accounting implications.
- Manage other special projects related to aspects of technical accounting.
- Communicate results of consulting projects via written reports and oral presentations to management and process owners.
- Facilitate career development of team members and develop and manage the longterm roadmap for the team.

We provide marketcompetitive compensation packages inclusive of base pay incentives benefits and equity. It would not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of range for the role as actual pay will be determined based on several factors including experience skills and qualifications.
