Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childhood development and experience working with children in a classroom setting. This role requires limited lesson plans, implementing effective behavior management strategies, and assessing student progress through standardized testing. The Teacher will play a crucial role in fostering a positive learning environment that supports the academic and social growth of each child.
Responsibilities
- Utilize effective teaching strategies to engage students in learning activities, particularly in subjects such as Math.
- Monitor and assess student progress through standardized testing and provide feedback to students and parents.
- Foster a supportive one to one relationship and encourages positive behavior management and early intervention when necessary.
- Communicate effectively with students, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative approach to education.
- Provide tutoring support for students that need additional assistance in their learning journey.
- Stay updated on best practices in childhood development and education methodologies.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is required.
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles and practices.
- Proficiency in lesson planning, with the ability to create engaging and age-appropriate learning activities.
- Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and assessment methods.
- Knowledge of early intervention strategies for children who may be struggling academically or behaviorally.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff.
- Experience in behavior management techniques to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere.
- Previous experience in preschool education is preferred but not mandatory.
