Are you a Mechanical Engineer who loves automation?
Our client is seeking a full-time Automation Design Engineer with experience in automation design as a Mechanical Engineer.
What We're Looking for:
- Are you able to generate concept drawings in AutoCAD and follow through to machine build/delivery?
- Mechanical Engineering degree or commensurate experience?
- Strong technical writing skills?
- Desire to travel in North America and beyond.
What You'll be Doing:
- Detail drafting from existing designs and the ability to direct other drafting resources.
- Conception and design of new automation using AutoCAD, Inventor, and SolidWorks.
- Creating BOM’s and releasing machined, fabricated, and purchased parts.
- Machine build follow-up, revisions, and documentation.
- Hands-on automation assembly and development.
- Interface with customers to support equipment installation and service and provide process solutions.
