- Plan, lead and execute preventative maintenance (PM) with specific ownership of equipment and processes to ensure equipment reliability.
- Complete reactive maintenance on production equipment to recover from equipment failures by repairing mechanical, electrical, and structural components.
- Participate in special project work on equipment upgrades or installations.
- Work with coworkers within Engineering and Brewery Operations to ensure the daily production schedule is met.
- Maintain partnerships with team members and vendors using effective communication.
- Create retrofits and fabrication, complete machine tear down/repair and assembly on mechanical equipment.
- Employ creative problem solving to identify and perform equipment improvements.
- Demonstrate proficiency in industrial skills which include the following areas: pneumatics, pumps, valves, steam components, gearboxes and other industrial mechanical components, 3 phase motor/VFD diagnostics, welding/fabricating, machining, and/or industrial low voltage controls.
- Follow and improve a rigid preventative maintenance schedule on crucial equipment and maintain clean and well-stocked maintenance tool carts and parts storage.
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required.
- Applicable industry, military, or post-secondary technical training, or Associate’s in a technical field preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment required.
- Ability to get forklift certification.
- Must have valid US driver's license.
- Must be conversational/fluent in English, both spoken and written.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong mechanical, pneumatic and electrical skills.
- Strong computer skills- experience with or ability to learn Google Work suite.
- Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) preferred.
- Demonstrated sense of urgency in completing tasks and comfort in working in a high-speed production environment.
- Strong problem solving and decision making skills with the ability to coach others.
- Attention to detail and organization.
- Ability to take direction and follow SOPs (standard operation protocols).
- Ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
