Technical Skills
Proficiency in KQL (Kusto Query Language):
- Writing efficient queries for data analysis.
- Filtering, sorting, aggregating, and visualizing data.
- Understanding of operators like
summarize,join,extend,where,project, etc.
Experience with Azure Data Explorer:
- Creating and managing databases, tables, and schemas.
- Ingesting data into Azure Data Explorer using various pipelines and connectors.
Data Analysis Expertise:
- Analyzing time-series data and identifying trends or anomalies.
- Handling large datasets and optimizing query performance.
Scripting Knowledge:
- Familiarity with PowerShell, Python, or .NET SDK for automating tasks in Azure Data Explorer.
Integration Experience:
- Integrating Azure Data Explorer with Power BI, Log Analytics, or other visualization/reporting tools.
- Understanding of data pipelines and connections (e.g., Event Hub, IoT Hub).
- PySpark, Python, Sql, Eventhub, data modeling, synapse, Cosmos db
Debugging and Optimization:
- Ability to debug and optimize complex KQL queries for better performance.
- Identifying and addressing bottlenecks in data ingestion and query execution.
Azure Platform Knowledge:
- Familiarity with Azure Monitor, Azure Sentinel, or Application Insights (if applicable).
- Basic understanding of Azure ecosystem (Storage, Virtual Networks, Active Directory).
