We are seeking an experienced SAP SuccessFactors EC Payroll Functional Consultant to join our team for a contract role with Paramount. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in SuccessFactors EC Payroll and a proven track record of leading large-scale customer implementations, particularly in the US Payroll domain.
As an SAP SuccessFactors EC Payroll Functional Consultant, you will be responsible for configuring and optimizing the SuccessFactors EC Payroll (ECP) solution to meet the client s business needs. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless integration of the payroll processes, guiding the client in system configuration, troubleshooting, and overall system enhancements.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the Implementation & Support: Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SuccessFactors EC Payroll solutions for the client. Provide functional expertise and act as the main point of contact for all payroll-related queries.
- Payroll Configuration: Configure payroll processes and rules in SuccessFactors EC Payroll. Ensure payroll is set up to comply with U.S. federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- System Integration: Work with other systems and modules (such as Employee Central, SuccessFactors Time Management, and third-party tools) to integrate the payroll process seamlessly.
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with client stakeholders to gather business requirements, translate them into system specifications, and design payroll processes accordingly.
- Testing & Issue Resolution: Lead the testing phases (Unit, Integration, and UAT) of the payroll system. Identify and resolve functional issues and work with technical teams to implement fixes.
- End-User Training: Provide training to end-users and clients on how to use the payroll system effectively.
- Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for all configurations, changes, and enhancements made to the payroll system.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for system improvements, process optimization, and automation to enhance payroll accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience working with US Payroll in a lead functional consultant role, particularly with SuccessFactors EC Payroll (ECP).
- Technical Skills: Expertise in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP). Familiarity with integration between SuccessFactors modules (Employee Central, Time Management) and third-party payroll providers.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of US payroll laws, tax compliance, and regulations (federal, state, and local).
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex payroll issues.
- Communication: Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, as well as provide clear documentation and training.
- Leadership: Experience leading projects and teams in a large-scale environment.
- Education: Bachelor s degree in information technology, Business, or related field is preferred.
Nice to Have:
- Certifications: SuccessFactors EC Payroll certifications (or similar credentials) would be an advantage.
- Project Management Experience: Experience in managing project timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations.
