Accounts Payable Administrator

Invariant Corporation is seeking a talented and motivated experienced Accounts Payable Administrator to join our team. As an Accounts Payable Administrator, you will play a play an important role in the company's financial obligations with efficiency and accuracy.
Duties Include:
- Communicate/Collaborate with the rest of the supply chain team: procurement & receiving.
- Communicate status and/or work solutions with Suppliers, Program Managers, Procurement & Receiving.
- Provide cash disbursement forecast projections by week, utilizing A/P Aging and Open PO Commitments.
- Review Invoices for Accuracy, Proper Delegation of Authority Approvals and Job Costing
- Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues
- Process PO and non-PO invoices for job costing and payment within supplier terms, in compliance contract terms and FAR regulations.
- Respond to vendor and employee inquiries.
- Meet weekly, month end and year end deadlines.
- Reconcile A/P Subsidiary Ledger
- Identify and execute process improvements.
- Maintain A/P Files and Support Audits
- Perform other duties as assigned or required
Requirements:
Preference will be given to candidates holding a BS degree or higher in Business Administration, Finance, Contracts, or a related field, complemented by relevant experience. Highly qualified applicants without a degree may also be considered.
- Prior working experience in government contracting industry is highly valued
- Proven experience in designing and delivering leadership training programs, with successful outcomes
- Experience working in a consultancy role or on a project basis is advantageous
- In-depth knowledge of leadership theories, principles, and practices
- Proficiency in training methodologies, instructional design, and evaluation techniques
- Familiarity with online training platforms, virtual collaboration tools, and e-learning software to deliver training in both in-person and virtual settings
Requires ability to:
- Engage and inspire a diverse audience with facilitation and presentation skills
- Interact effectively with all levels of the organization with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Customize training approaches to fit the organizational culture and the specific needs of the participants
- Identify challenges within teams or individuals and devise effective solutions through training interventions
- Make rational decisions and exercise good judgment
Work Environment
Office environment.
This position is expected to be performed only in the state of Alabama.
