Logistics Analyst

Invariant is seeking an experienced Logistician with a technical test background to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of logistics operations, supply chain management, and testing protocols in the context of weapon and defense systems. The candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective movement of equipment to OCONUS areas of operation, coordinating with various stakeholders, formulating test plans, and conducting technical tests to ensure the performance and reliability of our products going to Soldier’s in the field.
Duties Include:
- Plan and execute logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management, to support company systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and accurate movement of systems, components, and spare parts.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure the availability of necessary materials and resources for company operations.
- Conduct technical tests to evaluate the performance, functionality, and reliability of systems, following established testing protocols.
- Analyze test data and provide technical reports to inform decision-making and improve the performance of missile defense systems.
- Maintain accurate records of logistics operations, testing results, and inventory levels, and provide regular reports to management.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, procedures, and applicable FAR/DFARS flow-downs.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and procedures related to logistics and testing in the Army missile defense space.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to other team members and contribute to the continuous improvement of logistics and testing processes.
Requirements:
Candidate must have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, engineering, or a related field with 10 years of experience in logistics operations, supply chain management, and technical testing in the within the DoD.
- Strong understanding of logistics principles, supply chain management, and testing protocols in the context of supporting the Army or the DoD.
- Knowledge of Army systems, including their components, functions, and performance requirements. Prior military service is considered a plus.
- Experience in conducting technical tests, analyzing test data, and preparing technical reports.
- Proficient in using logistics management software, testing tools, and other relevant software applications.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with applicable regulations, policies and procedures related to logistics, contractual requirements (FAR/DFARS flow-downs) and testing in the Army defense space.
- Experience with Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) and Fault Tree Assessments
- Knowledge of Diminishing Manufacturing Sources & Material Shortages Health Assessment Reporting
- Knowledge of Safety Assessment Reporting, System/Subsystem Hazard Analysis, and Hazard Tracking Systems is preferred.

Work Environment
Office, Lab, Warehouse, and field environment.
This position is expected to be performed only in the state of Alabama.
