Security Specialist

Invariant Corporation is seeking a talented and motivated experienced Security Specialist to help us support and grow with our current government customers.
Duties Include:
- Maintaining archive record retention per regulations.
- Confirming and update continuous evaluation per DISS.
- Maintain foreign travel to include records of travel, and ensuring debriefs are provided within 5 days of return.
- Coordinating collateral visit requests to include sending outgoing visit request for personnel within the branch and transferring incoming visit requests to the appropriate spreadsheet where they are maintained.
- Maintaining visit logs.
Requirements:
Candidate must have a minimum of a BS degree or higher in Business Administration, or other related degree program from an accredited college/university and 0-3 years of DoD security experience.
- Intermediate knowledge of NISPOM and government regulations
- Must hold a current DoD Secret Clearance
- Demonstrated task management skills
- Detail oriented with a commitment to a high level of customer service
- Must be able to communicate effectively with engineers, customers, vendors, and business professionals
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Products and Adobe
Preferred qualifications include familiarity with some or all, of the following:
- Has previous experience in customer service and strong communication skills
- Able to work productively independently and as part of a team
- Must have excellent analytical thinking skills and problem solving abilities
- Should exhibit strong organizational and time management abilities

- Sitting for extended periods of time at desk, in telecoms/meetings with peers, management

- Requires ability to operate a personal computer, telephone, printer, copier, and other general office equipment
OTHER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others
