Job Description

Here's the deal : We are seeking an Industrial Mechanic to keep our machinery in tip-top shape. This position requires experience working with AC power, especially 480-volt 3-phase power. While we have an electrician we use, you'll be expected to perform basic troubleshooting. Important : All candidates must pass a basic AC wiring test to be considered. We've got a fleet of machines that need regular preventive maintenance. If you love working on newer equipment and thrive in a clean, organized environment, this is the job for you! Don't miss out!

What you'll do :

Equipment Maintenance :

Execute proactive predictive, preventative, and corrective maintenance programs on a diverse range of industrial machinery.

Diagnoses and troubleshoot electrical issues, including AC wiring and 480-volt 3-phase systems.

Perform timely replacement of machine parts to ensure optimal equipment performance.

Assemble, install, and repair various types of industrial equipment.

Facility Maintenance :

Assist with basic carpentry tasks as needed.

Operate floor cleaning equipment to maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Operate parking lot ride-on sweepers for efficient facility upkeep.

Operate snow removal equipment during winter months.

Logistics & Support :

Safely operate forklifts for material handling and equipment movement.

Provide support to other departments as needed, demonstrating a team-player mentality.

On-Call Availability :

Respond to emergency machine breakdowns outside of regular working hours (Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM) to minimize downtime and ensure production continuity.

What we're looking for :

Minimum of 5 years’ mechanical / electrical experience

Welding is a plus.

Experience with general shop equipment : saws, drills, grinders, etc.

Experience with general plumbing, H-vac, and gas oven operations.

Physical requirements :

Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.

Ability to occasionally walk, stand, bend, climb, and work in high places.

Ability to respond to visual and audible queues.
