Shop helper

The Inventive-Group™ is hiring an energetic person to join our Sheet Metal Department. No experience necessary. All you need is a desire to learn and a hunger to build a career.

The Shop Helper will assist the Laser and Press Brake areas. This is a great opportunity to learn how to operate state-of-the-art CNC machines in a clean and organized shop while working with awesome people .

Job Details :

• Learn how to operate CNC laser or pressbrake machines
• Read digital work instructions
• Examine workpieces to ensure quality
• Use power tools to smooth rough edges
• Use autonomous robots to transport materials

Qualifications :

• Shop experience a plus, but will train
• Basic computer skills and math skills are a plus
• Great attitude and desire for self-improvement
• Enjoy working in a thriving team atmosphere (we really do mean Team)

Physical Requirements

• Be able to stand and walk all the time
• Ability to occasionally move objects weighing 60 pounds
• Ability to respond to visual and audible queues
• Ability to handle and move materials frequently
