We are seeking a talented Laboratory Medicine Technician to join our team at Inverted Healthcare Staffing of Florida. As a Laboratory Medicine Technician, you will be responsible for performing various laboratory tests and procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background in medical laboratory science and relevant experience in a clinical laboratory setting. You will be expected to possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory tests and procedures to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment
- Collect and process biological samples for testing
- Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments
- Assist senior laboratory personnel with complex laboratory tests and procedures
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in medical laboratory science or related field
- Current licensure as a laboratory specialist in the state of CA
- At least one year of experience as a laboratory specialist within the last two years
- American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, NRP, NIH, and TNCC may be required by some client facilities
