Job Description
The Associate Product Manager is responsible for supporting Invesco’s custom and pre-built model portfolios by helping drive product management initiatives across retail and institutional channels. This individual supports the model portfolio product managers with the development of timely and accurate content, RFP and due diligence support, and essential compliance activities.
Your Role:
The Associate Product Manager is a key role within the Product Management / Client Portfolio Management team responsible for the ownership of internal reporting and content creation, being a subject matter expert with respect to the set of investment strategies the team represents, and a driver of research related to product/competitive trends. The individual also supports the product managers by liaising with legal, compliance, marketing and other departments to help with content and other potential issues. Strong communication and organizational skills are core requirements for the position and the Associate Product Manager must have strong technical skills and attention to detail.
The key to success in this role is demonstrating the ability to think outside of the box regarding the positioning of their capabilities, and to be nimble and re-focus quickly as business and client needs evolve. The result is a multi-faceted, dynamic, and challenging role that demands exceptional skills and creativity in communications, analytics, relationship building, and overall project management, as well as being a passionate student of our industry and capital markets.

You Will Be Responsible For:
The Associate Product Manager will be responsible for support of Model Portfolios across geographic markets and retail and institutional channels:
- Developing and formatting model portfolio collateral, including trade rationales and performance commentaries, and reviewing collateral produced by internal partners, such as model portfolio overview flyers/fact sheets
- Supporting the completion of RFP and ongoing due diligence questionnaires, with data updates and other relevant requests
- Managing the upload of model portfolio content to various internal platforms, allowing distribution and other partners to easily access
- Steering model portfolio collateral through compliance process and engaging with compliance team on necessary edits to documents
- Partner with content marketing to ensure model portfolio content is produced and posted accurately
- Support third party database team by ensuring model portfolio product information is uploaded and showing accurately in third party databases
- Create competitive intelligence reports and assist product managers with competitive positioning commentary
- Cultivating strong, trusting partnerships with teams across the firm and providing connectivity with the model portfolio team
- Leveraging technology and firmwide capabilities to deliver efficiently and effectively for our clients
- Undergraduate degree required, preferably in business or related discipline.
- 4 – 8 years of related experience in financial services.
- A strong work ethic, and relentless pursuit of delivering timely, accurate and high-quality content. Strong communication and organizational skills are required.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, with a focus on continuous improvement and willingness to learn, embrace and lead change, determination to find creative solutions to problems.
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency of Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
- Passion for the industry and capital markets
- Highly developed communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Good people and interpersonal skills.
