Your Role
The Head of Client Operations will be a collaborative leader with a vision of a superior client reporting and transitions experience, along with the ability to deliver on that vision. Working at the intersection of business and technology is paramount as is the ability to deliver results by working together with global colleagues and teams.
You will be responsible for:
- Provide leadership and oversight for our client transitions and client reporting service offerings to ensure the highest level of accuracy, timeliness, and consistency
- Must have a client first focus, possess market knowledge, remain current on industry trends and evolve our industry relationships
- Pursue innovative ideas across the client lifecycle and effectively separate the firm from its competitors in terms of impact, quality, and efficiency
- Enrich current protocols and introduce new tools that will further support and enhance a diverse, inclusive, and collaborative global work environment.
- Proactively question traditional approaches and continually think of differentiated ways to deliver better outcomes.
- Manage the Client Operations reporting team and any related outsourced vendors, fostering a positive and effective team environment
- Must have fundamental knowledge of change management techniques to support speedy execution and continual delivery of business results
- Provide input into the Client Operations capability model, ensuring it is aligned with the overall Investment and Distribution Services (IDS) strategy
- Communicate the Client Operations and Investment and Distribution Services (IDS) strategy into the region in support of global and local priorities and create optimal resource allocations
- Must be proficient at attracting and developing talent with an eye toward Invesco’s client focus and culture of excellence.
- Demonstrate superior execution skills in terms of both ongoing operations and program/project related duties.
- Administer the department’s budget and expenses. Manage the day-to-day department activities, ensuring all work is organized and executed timely and accurately
- Utilize global footprint with an eye toward executing for scale
- Collaborate, partner and coordinate with various cross functional departments, including our technology partners and external providers to achieve department objectives
- Conduct periodic stakeholders’ reviews and assess regional partners experiences in ascertaining performance satisfaction
- Manage client concerns pertaining to change and process improvements
- We are seeking an accomplished leader with a strong background in client transitions and client/product information reporting.
- This individual will possess experience leading a geographically dispersed team, possess a strong working knowledge of information management and reporting, and have a record of success in building both internal and external relationships needed to effectively position a team to provide both effective operational and strategic support in a rapidly evolving environment.
- Proven experience supporting development of a vision through execution and day to day leadership of a dynamic, client-focused organization
- Proven track record of strong leadership within a global organization, including coordination with geographically separated centers of excellence
- Experience creating and executing effective change management, leading others through transformational change
- Proven experience leading, developing, and motivating professional level staff
- Knowledge of business risk, sound working knowledge of robust operating procedures and controls
- Broad understanding of investment operations, thorough knowledge of institutional and retail businesses with Invesco (or similar) product lines, regulatory issues, systems, and support procedures and controls
- Excellent verbal and written communications
- Undergraduate degree required, or equivalent qualifications. A graduate degree is a plus.
