Job Description
The Securities Lending trader is a key role in the Securities Lending group and within the Invesco Global Capital Markets division. The candidate will be tasked with maximizing revenue generation across the platform within prescribed program parameters. Primary responsibilities will be to lend Invesco fund assets.
Key Responsibilities / Duties:

- Negotiate and execute loans for the Invesco Fund complexes
- Maximize revenue generation across the platform within prescribed program parameters
- Collaborate with the Global Liquidity Team to ensure lending activity matches with cash reinvestment activities
- Develop and maintain key prime broker relationships to facilitate affiliated lending activity
- Work closely with global trading colleagues to identify new opportunities across our Investment Team
- Assist in fair valuing our counterparty relationships by adding Securities Lending inputs
- Help to manage bespoke trade structures to maximize fund returns
Work Experience / Knowledge:
- At least 2 years of securities lending trading experience preferred; additional experience in financial markets desirable
- Strong interest in financial markets, specifically equities
- Knowledge of the securities lending trading or operations is preferred
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of programming languages/coding desirable (Python preferred)
