What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior User Experience Designer position at Invesp?
If you are looking to work with the World's top experts on conversion optimization and UX, then this is the position for you!
Invesp is a leading provider of conversion optimization software and services. We are looking for a web designer to work in our Istanbul office. While we work with clients across the globe, most of our clients are based in the United States.
If you are a driven, simplicity-loving web interface designer and usability expert (yes, all of those in one person), we want to get to know you
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- You will typically work on 2-4 clients at the same time, creating new UI solutions to be A/B tested.
- Start your day by reviewing the different projects assigned to you and doing a quick check with the team you work with about these projects. You’ll receive project briefs explaining to you the issues we are trying to address on the project and suggestions on how to fix them. You will start creating high-fidelity wireframes, prototypes, and designs to achieve the design goals for each project.
- After you submit your designs, you will receive design feedback from team members discussing the direction of the design. You should be able to take that feedback and incorporate it into the design.
- The later section of the afternoon is very busy adjusting designs and making sure they meet client and development requirements. You will typically have to join calls with the client team (these are done during the daytime in US time).
- Identify opportunities for process and operational improvements and advocate for necessary changes.
- Decision Making: consistently chooses the best course of action (from a number of alternatives) to address business problems and/or opportunities
- Priority Setting: focuses time/energy on the most important issues/opportunities. Clearly understand how to assess the importance of tasks and decisions.
- Influence: Asserts own ideas and persuades others, gaining support and commitment and mobilizing people to take action
- Negotiation: successfully obtains commitment to a solution or idea, while maintaining integrity and relationships.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- English (both written and verbal) communication skills.
- Figma.
- Graphic Design fundamentals.
- Think before you design.
- Understand that design is about making things easier, clearer, and more useful for real people.
- Knows usability can be elegant and beautiful.
- Thinks about every single pixel and every single detail but realizes the web is an imperfect medium that requires designers to be flexible and embrace the web's uncertainty.
- Understand that there's more to "simple" than white space.
ABOUT YOU:
- Wants to do great work for great clients.
- Wants to learn, push themselves, and make the web a better place.
We want to see your recent work. Real-world experience is where it's at.
