How You Will Provide Meaningful Contributions:
- Liaise directly with business teams to validate requirements and propose solution designs.
- Coordinate with project managers and business teams to align project timelines.
- Implement approved solution designs and ensure seamless integration with existing systems, processes, and infrastructure.
- Provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle to internal and external teams.
- Create, modify, and document scripts for data transmission, including adding clients to existing A2E and non-A2E interfaces (no new scripts required).
- Build and modify AutoSys jobs and perform script changes to enhance or add functionality.
- Encrypt/decrypt data for secure transmission and process incoming data files (e.g., header/trailer checks).
- Implement standard A2E tasks as part of broader projects.
- Develop new scripts for sending/pulling data via FTP, NDM, or alternative methods.
- Build and support new incoming/outgoing data transmission interfaces, including Trading/STP interfaces that require new script development.
- Evaluate project complexities, identify risks, and follow change control procedures.
- Maintain detailed technical documentation and ensure adherence to security protocols.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT, with at least 3 years in a data transmission engineering role.
- Proficiency in Autosys, AIX, Linux, Perl, Shell Scripting, SFTP, Connect Direct/NDM, Jira, and ZenDesk.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and change control.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.
