InvestCoud is looking for a dynamic Senior Accountant maintaining financial records, preparing monthly close entries, assisting with financial reports and audits. This position supports the accounting department by performing general ledger accounting, month-end close processes, and financial reconciliations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses strong analytical skills, and is capable of managing multiple tasks within tight deadlines.

A successful Senior Accountant is highly organized and eager to learn more about the business. Effectively works on multiple assignments simultaneously with a high degree of integrity and professionalism while working with financial documents.
How you will provide meaningful contributions:
- Monthly preparation and disclosures for ASC 842 Lease accounting
- Prepare and reconcile intercompany entries for expenses and interest
- Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
- Create Month-End Reconciliations and analyze reconciling items
- Assist in multiple system implementations to achieve long-term finance goals
- Review and process employee expense reports for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Assist with the month-end close process, including balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis, and adjusting entries.
- Assist with monthly expense variance explanation utilized for management reporting.
- Assist with internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
- Ensure all financial records are maintained in accordance with regulatory and company policies.
- Provide financial data and analysis as requested by management.
Basic Qualifications for Consideration:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.
- 5-7 years of accounting experience.
- Analytical attitude and ability to resolve accounting problems with multiple variables.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to assist with projects, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines; exhibit a sense of urgency in performing tasks.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, ability to relate and clearly communicate with accounting team and other departments.
- Must be a team player, ambitious, and able to prioritize under pressure during peak periods.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience with ERP systems is preferred; NetSuite is a plus.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Preferred Skills / Experience
- CPA candidate preferred.
- NetSuite experience is a plus.

The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on the applicant’s geographic location. Salary range: $90,000 - $120,000
