POSITION SUMMARY
Key fundamentals of this role include developing the trust and confidence necessary to help our managers navigate hiring decisions while managing job descriptions and postings, and leading the process through full-cycle recruiting. This position requires creativity in its approach to attracting top talent and engaging prospective candidates. You will be the lead in helping Investco and its affiliated companies reach their hiring goals.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Facilitate recruitment and selection strategies to ensure the talent pool and hiring decisions achieve each company's needs.
- Take initiative and think proactively to source candidates and connect with future employees.
- Collaborate with hiring managers in-person, and via Teams or phone call when appropriate, across multiple industries to understand business objectives and recruit for open positions.
- Communicate with candidates in a way to maintain engagement and energy throughout the hiring process.
- Support job description creation and determine whether a position is exempt or non-exempt per FLSA guidelines.
- Coordinating with the TPS Recruiter and Director of HR on benchmarking salaries for open positions.
- Coordinating and supporting the hiring manager through the interview process including scheduling and assistance with interview questions.
- Post job openings on job boards and social networks; prioritizes openings based on target start date while balancing the needs of multiple hiring managers.
- Source passive and active candidates through online channels, including LinkedIn.
- Manage a high volume of resumes through the Applicant Tracking System and online job boards; implement new Applicant Tracking Systems as needed.
- Evaluate candidates and make recommendations to hiring managers.
- Coordinate and interview candidates during various hiring stages, including phone screens and additional interviews as necessary.
- Use creativity to provide content for our online presence, including career sites and social media accounts; establish brand awareness.
- Develop and maintain a pool of pre-qualified candidates for future company needs.
- Report to hiring managers and HR on the status of open positions; track open positions, filled positions and closed positions per entity.
- Answer candidates' questions regarding the application process and company benefits.
- Provide and / or gather interview feedback.
- Send and review communication questionnaires to candidates prior to hire.
- Create offer letters, send decline emails, and support managers in the negotiation process.
- Process background checks and documentation for newly hired employees; work with Payroll & Benefit Supervisor and TPS Recruiter on red flags and the pre-adverse process as necessary.
- Assist in various projects pertaining to the overall recruiting and HR goals.
- Other duties and special projects as assigned.
