Salary range : The posted UC academic salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and / or step at appointment. A reasonable estimate for this position is $64,329 - $74,576.Percent time : Positions range from 33% to 100% each semester. Summer positions are 11%.Anticipated start : Positions usually start at the beginning of the semester (in mid-January for Spring Semester; in mid-August for Fall Semester). Summer appointments begin in late May and run into early August.Review timeline : Typically, appointments for summer and Fall semester are reviewed in February / March, and appointments for Spring semester in October / November. Applicants are considered for positions as needs arise; the existence of this pool does not guarantee that a position is available.Position duration : Appointments are made on a semester-by-semester basis.
