Data Science Leader

We are in search of a skilled Data Science leader to become part of our team in Wilmington, DE.

The Director of Data Science will lead a team of data scientists in developing and implementing cutting-edge data-driven solutions to enhance drug discovery, clinical trials, and overall pharmaceutical research and development. This role will leverage advanced analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence techniques, including Large Language Models (LLMs), to drive innovation and efficiency across the organization

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and mentor a team of data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence in data science practices
• Develop and implement data science strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives in drug discovery and development
• Design and oversee the development of advanced analytics models, including statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and AI applications, with a focus on integrating LLMs into the workflows
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for applying data science solutions to critical business challenges in drug development and clinical trials
• Drive the adoption of best practices in data management, ensuring data integrity and compliance with industry regulations
• Spearhead the integration of LLMs in various aspects of the drug discovery process, including literature review, target identification, and predictive modeling
• Oversee the development of data processing pipelines and infrastructure to support large-scale data analysis and model deployment
