As a Strategy & Corporate Development Associate, you will contribute to a diverse array of strategic projects, partnering with management teams to unlock value, drive growth, and execute on strategic investments. Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to projects defining the future direction of the organization and the pathways to achieve it.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with affiliate management teams to identify and execute initiatives that create value.
- Strategic Investments: Source, conduct due diligence, execute deals, and manage investments post-acquisition.
- New Business Incubation: Assist in the conception and execution of innovative growth initiatives.
- Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with leading firms to drive impactful outcomes.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2β5 years in M&A investment banking, management consulting, or asset management in a strategy, chief of staff, or corporate development role. Experience with software, market-making, or private investment businesses is a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation analysis, market research, segmentation, and sizing.
- Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple high-quality, cross-functional projects simultaneously.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Self-Motivation: Strong work ethic, independence, and problem-solving mindset.
- Tools Knowledge: Familiarity with PitchBook, Preqin, and CapIQ is advantageous.
- Certifications: CFA candidacy or charterholder preferred.
- Education: BA/BS degree with a strong academic record.
