Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Construction Superintendent to support our construction projects for multi-family communities. The ideal candidate will assist the Superintendent in managing on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 1 : 00 PM
- This position is expected to last until August 2025, with the possibility of additional work in the future.

Assist in overseeing daily on-site construction operations, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and project managers to maintain project schedules.Schedule and manage construction subcontractors and inspections, working closely with city building inspectors.Read and interpret architectural plans to ensure project accuracy.Monitor progress, materials, and resources to ensure efficient workflow.Support in ensuring compliance with all local building codes, safety regulations, and company policies.Maintain clear communication with the Superintendent, providing updates on project status.Help manage budgets, schedules, and materials for construction phases.Qualifications :
Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction, preferably in multi-family or residential projects.Working knowledge of general construction activities and hands-on experience scheduling subcontractors.Familiarity with scheduling inspections and interacting with city building inspectors.Ability to read architectural plans and technical documents.Good communication and computer skills.Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety protocols, and quality control.Proficiency in project management software is a plus.High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree or construction management certification is preferred.Physical Requirements :
Ability to work on-site, including climbing ladders and navigating construction zones.Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow in the field of construction management and work on large-scale multi-family projects.
