Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Wayzata Woods, a conventional apartment community in Wayzata, MN. The successful candidate will have prior experience as a Maintenance Technician at a multi-family property with 100 units and be proficient in technical and mechanical work.
Responsibilities
- Complete assigned work orders and preventative maintenance on the property by diagnosing defects, making repairs according to established policies, procedures, safety standards, and code requirements
- Conduct the 'make-ready' process to prepare vacant apartments for new move-ins by scheduling vendors, obtaining necessary supplies, completing tasks, and inspecting completed work
- Follow procedures for accessing materials, tracking inventory, returning unused items, and notifying supervisors about re-ordering needs
- Possess experience and knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and appliance repair, including safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, mechanical equipment, and measuring devices
- Respond to after-hours emergencies and participate in on-call rotations
