What’s in it for you?
- Base Salary: $190,000 - $205,000 annually, commensurate with experience

Position Summary
The Regional Vice President is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the performance and operational integrity of a multi-state portfolio of 27 conventional and affordable apartment communities, as well as leading a dedicated support department. The Regional Vice President will drive strategic initiatives, ensure operational excellence, and enhance resident satisfaction across the region. This role requires a blend of financial acumen, operational oversite, and strong leadership skills to manage diverse property types while aligning the company’s growth objectives and market strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Property Operations & Management
- Oversee operational integrity of multifamily properties and support department staff to ensure the company meets financial performance and compliance
- Understand, interpret, and implement policies, procedures, and regulations
- Communicate effectively and promptly with leadership team, employees, clients, and board members
- Provide recommendations on creating ways to innovate the company by offering insights to portfolio performance and recommending action plans
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, coach, and motivate team members to ensure employees feel valued and empowered
- Build and maintain positive relationships with on-site teams, colleagues, residents, vendors, and stakeholders
- Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on all HR matters, including talent management, organizational development, and workforce planning
Financial & Asset Management
- Drive property performance by analyzing market trends, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing strategic initiatives
- Thoroughly analyze monthly financial reports, identify anomalies, develop a corrective plan, and drive actions to successful completion
- Oversee development and management of budgets ensure properties meet financial targets
Resident & Community Relations
- Build and sustain positive, mutually beneficial relationships with residents, ensuring resident needs are met and concerns are addressed with care and responsiveness.
- Engage with community stakeholders to strengthen Aeon's presence and impact in the neighborhoods it serves.
- Skilled in handling disputes, resident concerns and personnel issues with diplomacy and fairness
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Compliance, Maintenance and other IPG teams to ensure effective communication and cohesive strategies
- Collaborate with property operations leadership to improve operational efficiencies and standardize best practices
Operating Software
- Experience with operating software systems: Yardi, CRM, Blue Moon, Rent Cafe, Vendor Cafe, and Client Central

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or a related field
- Must have progressive leadership experience as a director for a minimum of 5 years, including experience managing both affordable and conventional apartment communities
- Must have multi-site and multistate experience managing
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, analyze financial reports, and implement const-saving initiatives
- Experience in revenue management and driving occupancy goals
- In-depth understanding of local, state, and federal regulations related to affordable housing, as well as conventional property management standards
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal personnel, residents, and external partners
- Skilled in handling disputes, resident concerns and personnel issues with diplomacy and fairness
- Results-oriented with demonstrated success balancing all business considerations
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Must have a valid driver’s license
