About the Role
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing technical and mechanical work to ensure the physical aspect of the buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas of the property meet the Company's standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality. This role requires prior experience as a Maintenance Technician at a multi-family property with 100 units and proficiency in technical and mechanical work.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete assigned work orders and preventative maintenance on the property by diagnosing defects, making repairs according to established policies, procedures, safety standards, and code requirements
- Conduct the 'make-ready' process to prepare vacant apartments for new move-ins by scheduling vendors, obtaining necessary supplies, completing tasks, and inspecting completed work
- Follow procedures for accessing materials, tracking inventory, returning unused items, and notifying supervisors about re-ordering needs
- Possess experience and knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and appliance repair, including safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, mechanical equipment, and measuring devices
- Respond to after-hours emergencies and participate in on-call rotations
