Emerson Harvest Hill Senior Living, located in Dallas, Texas, is a premier independent senior living location. We are seeking a hard-working, dedicated, compassionate, and experienced Caregiver to work alongside a great team to provide exceptional care experiences for every guest who needs support in our community.
The Personal Assistant and Professional Caregiver will work within our Senior Living Apartment division on property assets ranging in size from 250 units in the Dallas – Fort Worth, Texas area. The schedule may vary but weekends will be required.

We are looking for a competent Personal Assistant and Professional Caregiver for our busy senior community. The successful candidate will encompass the following skills:
SUMMARY: The employee provides exceptional service to residents in a timely, courteous, efficient and accurate manner with a sincerely pleasant and professional demeanor. He or she performs a variety of duties related to companionship, including greeting residents, spending quality time with residents, friendly reminders, cleaning personal areas, and keeping track of activities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Adheres to and conveys a philosophy that supports the dignity, privacy, independence, choice, and individuality of residents · Spends time with residents · Greets all residents in a warm, sincere, and helpful manner · Provides feedback from residents to manager regarding personal situations · Follows safety and sanitation rules and practices · Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: · This job has no supervisory responsibilities
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in senior communities preferred.
OTHER SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Demonstrated ability to plan and prioritize tasks in a self-directed work environment and maintain high levels of productivity without direct supervision
- Detail oriented
- Able to work in a team environment and take direction
EXPERIENCE:
- Senior Community: 1 year (Preferred)
- Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
