Closing Coordination
- Coordinate all aspects of closings to ensure smooth transactions.
- Prepare and review settlement statements and closing disclosures.
- Process loan packages received from lenders.
- Balance closing files and prepare necessary closing documents.
- Ensure timely disbursement of funds, deposits, and checks.
- Conduct offsite closings as necessary.
- Perform quality assurance reviews on files to ensure accuracy.
- Coordinate document recording via mail, delivery, or electronic submission.
- Verify and process recording fees and checks payable to Clerk’s Office.
- Follow up with Recorder’s Office to confirm the status of recorded documents.
- Work alongside the Agency Operations Manager to enhance profitability and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain relationships with lenders, attorneys, builders, and realtors.
- Collaborate on business development plans and strategies to increase referral networks.
- Monitor market trends to stay informed about key industry players and competitors.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in real estate closings and settlement file processing.
- Strong understanding of Closing Disclosures and settlement processes.
- Experience with settlement production software (SoftPro is a plus).
- Ability to review, analyze, and process real estate transaction documents.
- Strong organizational and deadline-management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
