Investors Title Insurance Company is looking for an Escrow Officer to join our team in Lincoln. This position will handle a variety of real estate closing support duties and collaborate with branch leadership to maximize agency profitability and effectiveness. Attention to detail and excellent communication skills are a must!
Position Highlights:
- Coordinate all aspects of the closing function and attend closings as needed.
- Prepare and edit settlement statements/closing disclosures.
- Perform all post-closing functions such as shipping lender packet, making payoffs and recording documents.
- Order municipal searches, tax searches, UCC searches, and land surveys.
- Collaborate to create business development plan.
- Develop and maintain a positive relationship with and referral network and maintain awareness of market area.
Position Qualifications:
- 2 years training and experience in real estate closings and processing of settlement files
- Possess thorough understanding of the Closing Disclosure
- Experience using settlement production software a plus
- Ability to analyze routine real estate transaction documents
- Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, organize workload and maintain accurate files
