Teaching at Invictus
Teachers play a crucial role in our success. We seek individuals who can plan and execute engaging, rigorous, and relevant daily lessons aligned to state standards and school-adopted curriculum. You will collaborate with special education staff, fellow teachers, and school leadership to ensure continuous improvement.
- Create lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs and promote student engagement.
- Communicate regularly with families, striving for a positive ratio of interactions.
- Utilize authentic assessments to collect and respond to student achievement data.
- Scaffold and differentiate your lessons to support students towards independent mastery of content.
Qualifications
- Earned Bachelor's Degree.
- California Single Subject or Multiple Subjects Credential in the designated subject area; currently working towards one; or committed to pursuing it.
- Possession of an English Learner (EL) Authorization, Bilingual Certificate of Competence (BCC), or equivalent required, or working towards this.
