Invictus Capital Partners seeks a motivated Summer Analyst to join our Repo Desk for a hands-on internship program. This role provides exposure to the mortgage acquisition process and warehouse financing for whole loan assets, offering practical experience in financial operations, data management, and cross-functional collaboration within a dynamic private equity environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit daily funding packages using SQL and Excel for financing counterparties, custodians, and the accounting team.
- Coordinate with custodians to issue trust receipts to warehouse lenders.
- Maintain and update systems with settled loan acquisition data to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Generate and submit monthly loan performance and servicing reports; provide variance explanations as needed.
- Reconcile warehouse cash activities and fees with the accounting team.
- Support process improvements and collaborate on special projects with senior team members.
- Current undergraduate student, ideally a sophomore or junior, pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Proficient in Excel; knowledge of SQL is a strong plus.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability to work on-site at our Washington, DC office.
