Position Overview:
As a Community Relations Assistant, you will support our community engagement efforts, assist in the promotion of fundraising events, and help build relationships with key partners. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in Community Engagement Strategy: Support the development and execution of strategies to increase community involvement in fundraising events.
- Relationship Building: Help maintain and strengthen relationships with community partners, sponsors, and stakeholders to promote collaboration.
- Event Promotion: Assist in promoting fundraising events through social media, email campaigns, and local community outreach.
- Event Representation: Represent Invictus at community meetings and events to raise awareness and generate support for nonprofit initiatives.
- Collaborate on Event Planning: Work alongside the event planning team to assist in the execution of successful community fundraising events.
- Track & Report Engagement: Assist in tracking community engagement efforts and reporting on the success of outreach campaigns.
- Customer Support: Provide outstanding customer service to event participants, donors, and community partners to ensure a positive experience.
Qualifications:
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with community members and stakeholders.
- Passion for Community Outreach: Genuine interest in making a positive impact and contributing to charitable causes.
- Team Player: Ability to collaborate with team members to achieve shared goals.
