Job Description:
The Technical SIGINT Analyst will utilize specialized equipment and techniques to intercept, analyze, and interpret electromagnetic signals from space-based sources, such as satellites and other spacecraft, to gather intelligence on foreign capabilities, operations, and intentions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Intercept and analyze electromagnetic signals from space-based sources
- Focus on technical details of weapons systems, communication protocols, and advanced technology analysis
- Apply complex algorithms and techniques to extract meaningful information from raw signal data
- Utilize knowledge of foreign space systems, communication protocols, and radar technology to interpret signal characteristics
- Determine the origin and purpose of intercepted signals
- Produce detailed reports on findings
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related area plus 12 years of experience
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of foreign satellite operations
- Mastery of qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies
- Able to define comprehensive research approaches
- Current active TS/SCI clearance required
