What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Specialist position at Invictus Surgical Incorporated?

JOB OBJECTIVES & KEY RESULTS (OKRs)
OBJECTIVE #1: Warehouse duties
- Understand and utilize agency inventory management resources (RedSpot, etc)
- Maintain accurate inventory records using our inventory management system.
- Pull product and sets for upcoming cases so that they can be turned into the facility upon their time standards
- Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock without overstocking
- Monitor expiration dates and ensure stock that is expiring first is being used
- Pull expiring products one month prior and return to Arthrex
- Receive product from Arthrex and put away in a timely fashion
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment by breaking down boxes from shipments, putting product away when it arrives, and transferring and putting away product returned from cases.
- Receive and inspect incoming products from Arthrex and teams for accuracy and quality.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or quality issues to management promptly.
- Ensure all products are handled and stored according to company and industry standards.
- Monitor products with heat sensitive sticker to ensure they are usable and undamaged.
- Make sure product is organized and store products in designated locations within the warehouse.
- Participate in internal audits and Arthrex audits
- Run RedSpot reconciliation reports each week to make sure we are tracking our assets
OBJECTIVE #2: Shipping logistics and planning to support territory
- Coordinate and reach out to other teams if product is needed from another territory to support cases
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products.
- Travel within territory and to surrounding territories to acquire or drop off necessary sets
- Promptly ship available requested sets to requesting Invictus territories
- Track inbound shipments to ensure they will arrive in time to the warehouse and act if there is a foreseen problem
- Prepare shipping documents, including labels, packing lists, and invoices.
- Update internal systems like RedSpot with tracking information and transfer any outbound sets
- Send email to team with tracking information if sending any product or sets.
OBJECTIVE #3: Restocking Sets
- Before restocking set, compare to Redspot to ensure any billing errors are caught and corrected with Rep that covered case
- Restock set when it arrives back at the warehouse ensuring that sets that need to be used next are taking priority
- Order any screws, plates or drill bits that are understocked for set
- Restock set when crews, plates or drill bits that are understocked for set arrive from Arthrex
OBJECTIVE #4: Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities
- Attend requisite training and development programs offered by Arthrex/Invictus Surgical
- Participate in ongoing performance refinement activities
