Reporting to the VP, Policy & Procedures, the primary responsibilities of this position are to create, review, and support the delivery of all content (policies, procedures, job aids, letters, forms, marketing materials, etc.) produced for the business. The role provides insight and specialized support to team members on document production and through effective communication with internal clients.
Responsibilities include drafting new policies, procedures, and job aids or updating existing documents in response to investor / regulatory updates or due to changes in the process or systems. The position ensures adherence to all regulations and investor requirements as directed. The position will complete the process for the development of P&Ps by obtaining approval from key Stakeholders, publishing documents, assisting with the communication of content changes throughout the organization, and assisting with the production of various reporting needs.
Additionally, the Sr Policy, Procedure & Content Specialist assists the VP, Policy & Procedures in driving innovation and continuous improvement of team operations.
What you will do for Fay :
- Complete peer reviews of documents using sound judgment to ensure documents comply with business requirements, rules and regulations, laws and business processes.
- Complete Gantt charts for projects to provide timelines for projects and communicate status updates on projects to senior staff regarding issues, roadblocks and progress of project
- Independently create and edit policy, procedure and job aid content as directed
- Independently create and edit borrower communications, letters and forms as directed
- Partner with Operational Leadership and SMEs to complete side by sides to ensure processes are appropriately defined and documented
- Work with the management team to determine which Lines of Business require policies, procedures, and job aids to clearly comply with guidelines and laws that govern processes
- Partner with department leadership of each business unit to ensure procedures are in place to foster compliance with Fay policies as assigned
- Provide quality assurance on all content as directed
- Secure appropriate approvals for policies, procedures, job aids, letters, marketing materials, and forms
- Determine if documents submitted through Fay Governance meet the requirements for publishing, then ensure documents are published timely and accurately
- Develop domain knowledge of Fay's business to include an understanding of organizational objectives
- Ensure compliance with Fay's policies, processes, and practices. Successfully complete all department and company-required training
- Model ethical standards, professionalism, and code of conduct
- Demonstrate behaviors that align with Fay's Values and Operating Principles
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
