Our Automation Solutions and Automation Technologies divisions work together to deliver Factory of the Future consulting and mission critical R&D pre-validation services that pave the way for a comprehensive suite of automation solutions where accuracy, efficiency, and precision are essential for success.DescriptionIn this position, reporting to the VP Business Development-Solutions, the Senior Sales Account Manager will be responsible for growing Invio business in the Medical Device / Life Sciences and Industrial industry segments, with responsibilities including bringing in new client business, managing new opportunities and growing existing accounts.Essential Duties And Responsibilities Market research and identification of target accounts in key target industry sub-segments and actively reaching out to prospective client contactsCommunicate Invio value proposition to clients through presentationsDevelop an understanding of client needs through a consultative selling approachOpportunity qualificationMaintenance of the sales CRM throughout the sales cycleManage opportunities utilizing the Invio sales processWork with the client to gather all information needed by our Applications Engineering team to develop the proposalDevelop and execute the opportunity win strategy with input from applications engineering and managementFacilitate feedback from the clientContract negotiationsMaintain regular contact and obtain feedback from the client through the course of the project / programDevelop an Account Plan to understand clients' broader business needs and opportunities to serve them across multi-site / business units.Work with our services group to ensure long-term client success by understanding their service and support needs and providing corresponding service offerings.Other Skills And Abilities Minimum 5 years of experience in selling custom automated solutions.Strong preference for candidates with experience in the medical device and life sciences industry.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.A highly motivated self-starter.Willingness to travel within North America, up to 50% of the time.EDUCATIONA bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Sales, Business, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred.
