Responsibilities and Duties:

• Work with the Operations Manager to oversee owner and guest services and fulfill owner and guest requests.
• Develop and grow relationships with team members, owners, guests and vendors.
• Assist with all aspects of maintenance, housekeeping management, and vendor relationship
• Gain full knowledge of and maintain all operational systems and services in rental properties as required including gas, HVAC, electrical, entertainment, water, sewage supply etc.
• Oversee housekeeping to ensure homes are ready for guest arrival
• Ensure all homes are up to Invitedhome standards by addressing deferred maintenance issues
• Manage any stocks of consumable items such as lightbulbs, batteries, dishes, etc. efficiently and within budget, assigning appropriate charges to owners as required by applicable deadlines
• Create and apply maintenance best-practices, develop procedures, and implement preventative maintenance programs (in conjunction with the Head of Property Operations).
• Maintain building structures and equipment through performing skilled duties in the maintenance and repair of destination homes, systems, appliances and equipment, including regular inspections, repairs, modifications, and installations.
• Provide safe conditions for associates, homeowners, and guests.
• Use various hand and power tools (e.g. roto rooter, snakes, welders, oxygen/acetylene torches, volt/ohm meters, ladders, etc.).
• Coordinate associate scheduling based on occupancy, home-improvement projects, and maintenance needs within the destination.
• Inspect the work completeness and quality of maintenance techs and third party service providers to uphold InvitedHome standards and guarantee homeowner and guest expectations are met.
• Perform preventive/predictive maintenance per InvitedHome standards and requirements and perform non-scheduled or emergency maintenance when required to support operations.
• Estimate time, cost and material for assigned work, establishing sequences and methods to be used.
• Conduct property inspections within a timeline outlined by the General Manager and as outlined in our management agreements
• Work closely with vendors to schedule and supervise subcontracted work as needed
• Maintains a budget and charges owners accordingly for time spent.

Required Experience and Skills

• Minimum 2-3 years experience in maintenance, hospitality, property management, or other related fields.
• Computer Proficiency
• Good organizational Skills
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record and reliable transportation
• Manages time effectively and meets deadlines
• Ability to learn new computer and cell phone applications software
• Ability to use hand and basic power tools

Recommended Experience and Skills

• Maintenance Skills - Electrical, Plumbing, Mechanical and Carpentry
• Strong local knowledge of Telluride, Mountain Village and surrounding area
• Associates or bachelor’s degree in hospitality or related field

Physical Abilities

• Ability to stand, sit, and walk for an extended period of time
• Reach overhead and below the waist
• Regularly push, pull, and lift up to 25 pounds
• Occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds
• Bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and twist
• You may be required to walk for long periods of time, shovel snow, complete maintenance work.
