Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst (BA) specializing in Stock Loan/Securities Lending to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of stock loan and securities lending processes, with proven expertise in regulatory reporting, specifically 10c–1a compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in Stock Loan/Securities Lending operations, including transaction workflows, collateral management, and trade settlements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for stock loan and securities lending initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with SEC Rule 10c–1a by monitoring and managing regulatory reporting processes.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including IT, legal, compliance, and operations, to implement process improvements and system enhancements.
- Conduct gap analysis, create functional specifications, and support the design and implementation of solutions aligned with business goals.
- Provide insights and recommendations to ensure operational efficiency and regulatory adherence in securities lending activities.
- Support testing efforts, including creating test plans, executing test cases, and validating results to ensure system functionality and data accuracy.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes, industry trends, and best practices within securities lending.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in Stock Loan/Securities Lending, with a deep understanding of market practices and operational workflows.
- Expertise in SEC Rule 10c–1a regulatory reporting and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in business analysis tools, including requirements gathering, gap analysis, and process mapping.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of securities markets, trading platforms, and financial regulations is essential.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with industry-standard securities lending systems and software.
- Experience in project management or Agile methodologies.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, or data analytics tools.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $50.00 - $75.00 per hour
