The Invo-Progressus Team has incredible opportunities for Special Educators…or, as we like to call them, Superheroes. We are currently hiring for a part-time Special Educator Instructor to work in an Early Intervention setting in Baltimore, MD.
Requirements
- Master's degree & MSDE Certification
- Appropriate state licensure and/or certification
- Keen understanding of general special education testing concepts and methods
- Responsible for providing specialized instruction for children with special needs
- Able to diagnose and provide remediation of various types of learning disabilities
- Able to provide consultation, resource information and materials regarding children with exceptional needs to parents
- Personal commitment to driving positive outcomes for children
- Collaborative minded professional with strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work and build strong relationships with parents and administrators
- Experience with younger special education population such as Early Intervention, Infants, and Toddlers age groups
