Key Responsibilities:
Assessment and Evaluation:
- Perform detailed psychological evaluations for special education referrals.
- Use various assessment tools to identify cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Provide detailed, actionable reports based on assessment data.
- Partner with parents and professionals to ensure a thorough evaluation process.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss findings and intervention strategies.
- Work with educators and parents to create individualized education plans tailored to each student.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records.
- Ensure compliance with special education regulations and submit timely reports.
- Master’s degree from an accredited program.
- Valid Commonwealth of Pennsylvania certificate as a School Psychologist.
- Two years of experience in child psychology.
- Strong knowledge of special education laws and best practices.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Proficiency with technology for assessments and documentation.
- Ability to move around the school and handle materials as needed.
