Our client is a respected leader in the gaming, hospitality and commercial construction industry, and seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Project Manager to join and help lead the team in Petersburg, VA on a $1B project.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in end-to-end project delivery, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a deep understanding of commercial construction practices. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of a large-scale commercial construction project from inception to completion.
- Collaborate with the Field and Project Management teams to develop and implement comprehensive construction plans that align with project schedules, budgets, and client expectations.
- Manage relationships with subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, architects, engineers, and local officials to ensure seamless coordination across all project stakeholders.
- Monitor and control project timelines, costs, quality standards, and risk management efforts to maintain on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Foster a culture of safety and compliance, ensuring all work meets applicable building codes, safety regulations, and quality control standards.
- Provide mentorship and leadership to project teams, promoting collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular site visits and project meetings to track progress, resolve issues, and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders.
- Prepare and present project updates, reports, and forecasts to internal leadership and clients.
Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in commercial construction project management, with a proven track record of managing large-scale projects (hospitality, gaming, healthcare, office complexes, or multi-family).
- Extensive knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling, budgeting, and project controls.
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience in managing cross-functional teams and subcontractor performance.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a focus on client satisfaction and team collaboration.
- Proficiency with construction management software and tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam).
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
- PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.

Salary : $125,000 - $175,000
