We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Owner/Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the hospitality industry, particularly in casual dining. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards in food quality and service. The Owner/Manager will be responsible for driving business success through effective leadership, strategic planning, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house functions.
- Manage staff recruitment, training, and development to ensure a skilled and motivated team.
- Implement inventory control measures to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
- Collaborate with culinary staff to develop menu offerings that meet customer preferences while adhering to budget constraints.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies.
- Utilize a POS system for efficient transaction processing and reporting.
- Foster a positive dining experience by maintaining high standards of service and addressing customer feedback promptly.
- Develop marketing strategies to promote the establishment and attract new customers.
- Monitor financial performance and implement cost-control measures to enhance profitability.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a management role within the food service or hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control processes and culinary operations.
