Job Description
We are seeking Mill / Mixer Operators to manufacture high-quality printing ink. We will train right candidate to operate a Mill Machine and on TPM activities. As a Mill / Mixer Operator you will be responsible for :
- Cleaning and maintaining machine to TPM Standards
- Learning and applying TPM knowledge to daily activities
- Weigh-Up Batches : Following process order of addition. Shift auto and manual steps
- Mix Batch : Discharging pigment and operating mixer safely; following and adhering to all INX Mixer SOP's
- Hockmeyer mill operation : Running and maintaining optimum OEE (overall equipment effectiveness) standards
- Creating and maintaining a database of all existing formulas including processing times
- Canning
- Operating the following : Press out unit, pump filter equipment, and forklift
- Acting as a QC liaison, providing ink samples, making ink adjustments, and recording data
- Completing scheduled maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures
- Helping with repacks
