Job Description
We are seeking a Canning Line Operator to maintain and operate the canning line equipment. This position reports to the Production Supervisor. INX makes the ink on 95% of all beer and beverage cans manufactured in the United States. We will train the right candidate on the job and on TPM activities. As a Canning Line Operator, you will be:
- Responsible for the canning operation
- Transporting material to the canning line press-out
- Following proper instructions when operating the canning machine
- Filling cans as instructed on process orders
- Transporting the tub to the tub washer for cleaning when canning is completed
- Preparing containers and labels
Qualifications
To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:
- Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
- Have good attendance and punctuality
- Be able to lift up to 50 lbs
In addition to these qualifications, we will consider it a plus if you have:
- Production experience
