What are the responsibilities and job description for the Occupational Therapist position at Inyo County Office of Education?
Under the direct supervision of the SELPA Director, the occupational therapist provides training and consultation to staff and parents and/or direct services to assist individuals with conditions which are mentally, physically, developmentally or emotionally disabling to benefit from their basic educational program. Working in partnership with school districts, other agencies, and families, the Inyo County Office of Education staff supports quality education for all students. Our responsibilities are to facilitate and communicate information, programs, and change; serve as an innovative role model; promote increased efficiency; and coordinate efforts. DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
·Two years experience in occupational therapy with a primary focus on pediatric clients.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
·Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university with a major in occupational
therapy
REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND/OR CREDENTIALS:
·Current registration issued by the California Board of Occupational Therapy
·Current valid California Driver’s License
Salary : $75,117 - $127,320
